Amis Africains
CAAA (Les Collégiens Akadiens et leurs Amis Africains) is an association whose foundation was decided in 2006 by students, lecturers and former graduates of AKAD College.
Our association primarily supports and accompanies projects for the education of people in Africa through the construction of schools and training workshops. In addition, attention is also paid to the satisfaction of basic needs and health aspects as a prerequisite for good education.
Volontary
In order to define the term honorary more precisely, we have drawn up the following declaration, which must be signed whenever an activity is carried out for the association:
The association is organised and controlled according to Swiss law. Information on finances, such as the annual reports, can be found in our media section.
We are registered with the Zurich Cantonal Tax Office as a tax-exempt association under the number 07/10 237. By stating this number, you should be able to deduct your contribution to us from your taxes (there are, however, cantonal differences).
Since August 2009, CAAA has been recognised by ZEWO (Central Office for Charitable Enterprises) as a non-profit organisation.
Supporters
Many people support us not only financially, but also with their expertise in various fields, for example with translations into English or sound knowledge about water filters or the use of solar energy. We are very grateful for this kind of support.
